Jetstream Europe has strengthened its sales team with a new appointment.

George Margreiter has joined the company as regional sales manager with responsibility for helping to develop new drain and sewer cleaning business in the UK and Ireland.

He brings more than 20 years' experience to his new role and initially studied engineering before working as a technical sales manager for cement manufacturer Lafarge.

Affectionately known in the trade as 'Sewer George', he has extensive expertise in pipe and surface cleaning and has previously sold sewer tools and water blast equipment for manufacturers in Europe  and the USA.

Jetstream Europe's decision to expand its sales team coincides with its appointment as the exclusive UK distributor for Intersewer, Cosmas and Bodus.

"I'm delighted to welcome George to the sales team which will benefit from his vast technical knowledge, particularly on the sewer cleaning side," said Danny Monaghan, Jetstream Europe's UK technical and operations manager.
